Dan Henderson. In their prime it would have been a good fight but I have Henderson slightly ahead overall.
Not enough people here are mentioning how Hendo got absolutely dismantled by Jake Shields. Any version of Chuck (including the one that ended his career on a spectacular KO loss streak) would knock Jake Shields head into the bleachers.that was such an ugly loss for Hendo and changed the way I saw him as a fighter. He was susceptible to wrestling in a way Chuck wasn't. 2hivh is weird because Hendo's pure wrestling credentials dwarf Chuck's.
You make a good point
Yeah, that and the fact that he never really put together a dominant run at the top of any division. He has great wins on his resume but he also mixed wins and loses. He was never considered the best LHW or MW in the world because he played musical chairs between those divisions.
The longevity is how hendo should be the obvious winner. Chuck did good in his time, but it didnt last. Continuing to fight, even with trt, has gotta have measurable results, vs not doing anything.Hendo for sure. He has bigger wins than chuck and longevity
Henderson has 6 top ten ranked wins at Light Heavyweight.
Liddell has 8 top ten ranked wins at Light Heavyweight.
If you eliminate their shared wins at LHW, it ultimately boils down to Ortiz x2 and Couture x2 compared to Shogun x2, and I consider the former being stronger for a resume than the latter.
Therefore, Liddell > Henderson @ LHW (I don't engage in P4P discussions).

Hendo has a who’s-who of wins and loses across multiple weight classes and stellar longevity whereas Chuck had an undeniable few years at the top of LHW. That’s what makes it so difficult to compare; they each did what the other one didn’t.
This is what I'm saying. His wins might be better, but his loses are worse. And some of his wins are worse. That, and Hendo never defended a championship. Someone posted a pic of Hendo with 4 belts, but he has 0 defenses of those belts. He was PRIDE MW champ for 2 years and never defended at MW after he won the belt. Not enough people here are mentioning how Hendo got absolutely dismantled by Jake Shields.
