Who do you believe UFC or USADA?

Who do you believe?

Both are shady as fuck but I think Usada had enough of the UFC bullshit specially after the Jones fiasco, they reputation got affected by how they handle it and they probably won't want any more problem specially from a higher profile athlete like Conor

Based on the fact pattern above USADA. They are more trustworthy and their story makes sense.

Exactly what about USADA's story makes sense?
  • They didn't want Conor to get an exemption. He didn't.
  • They wanted Conor in the pool. He is.
  • They implied this was the end of drug testing. UFC signed with a competitor, and even if they hadn't the commissions still would be testing then.
  • They feared Conor wouldn't do 6 months of testing prior to competing as after Jan 1 they have no say. UFC's said he's doing the 6 months and can't return until April just like he couldn't under USADA.
  • April is when UFC 300 is occurring. The idea the UFC was going to waste Conor on any other PPV at this point is laughable.
  • Fight camps are 8-12 weeks anyways. And Conor has had numerous fight ideas fall through because the UFC wants time to be able to properly promote his fights. The idea he was ever fighting anywhere remotely near Jan 1 when USADA is over is laughable.
  • USADA said they met in May and everything seemed fine then met again in October and brought up their contract was expiring soon and learned they weren't being renewed. Maybe don't wait 2 months before end date without a renewal in place and you won't suddenly panic that you had no plans for your biggest customer actually leaving you.
  • October is also post merger where of course things changed now that it's a different company and so USADA's even dumber for not having thought about that impact.
USADA is the one whose story makes zero sense while the UFC's flows perfectly fine.

USADA.

One does not need to have Chandler's IQ to understand that the UFC would demand special treatment for Conor.

Except the UFC isn't. Conor is literally in USADA's pool right now.

lol Dana said who gives a shit what USADA thinks about Conor saying he's coming back to fight in December.. but yeah UFC 100% is not shady

I personally believe UFC in this case. USADA came out with a salty statement and UFC is just saying "we're switching from one program to another." Call me a red goof simp if you want but USADA are the ones whinging and UFC are continuing business as usual.

And that didn't happen and now the UFC's saying Conor isn't fighting until April when he's done his 6 months of testing. Exactly as USADA claimed to want.

So here we are with you being a conspiracy nut.

If USADA were being honest and above board they'd issue a second statement now that details about the switch to Drug Free Sport have been made public and concerns about Conor have been addressed. Everything they claimed to fear for isn't happening. It should be pretty simple to release a second statement retracting the first and saying some bullshit about how they're glad to hear testing is continuing in their former partner and wish them well.

The fact that they haven't shows that yeah, they're just the bitter ex angry that they lost such a big contract to a competitor.

They're both shady as hell. USADA is mad they're losing a lot of business and UFC wants Conor fast tracked to compete. USADA wasn't perfect though and waking up or bothering fighters at odd hours in the night while cutting weight is some BS.

USADA was probably mad Conor and whoever else involved (potentially the UFC) found that loophole, and were trying to prevent it from happening as it kinda makes USADA look like a joke.

Dana said Conor is playing by the rules, to leave him alone.
Found what loophole? And if they tried to close a loophole that allowed PED monitoring to be circumvented, how would that make them look like a joke?

I think it was more the Brock Lesnar exemption fiasco, and them unwilling to get burned like that again.

I'm sure they stand by the Jones thing. It's not the evil conspiracy that people who dislike Jones claim it is.

They are all corrupt and self intrested. Every single party. Never forget that all promoters, commissions, and fighters all want more money and power/control. No one is innocent and there aren't good guys. Even the fans want to pay less money and have more power/control. Sick of this black and white crap all the time.

Stop it... USADA is a non profit organization, they don't have any reason to lie unlike UFC.

Also, UFC replaced them with a far less reliable and less stringent anti-doping agency.

You just need some basic logic, it's really not that difficut...
