it's just strange and very unbecoming of an organization that you equate with a governing body, or at least a mandated reporting organization.
Based on the fact pattern above USADA. They are more trustworthy and their story makes sense.
USADA.
One does not need to have Chandler's IQ to understand that the UFC would demand special treatment for Conor.
Exactly what about USADA's story makes sense?
USADA is the one whose story makes zero sense while the UFC's flows perfectly fine.
- They didn't want Conor to get an exemption. He didn't.
- They wanted Conor in the pool. He is.
- They feared Conor wouldn't do 6 months of testing prior to competing as after Jan 1 they have no say. UFC's said he's doing the 6 months and can't return until April
- April is when UFC 300 is occurring. The idea the UFC was going to waste Conor on any other PPV at this point is laughable.
- Fight camps are 8-12 weeks anyways. And Conor has had numerous fight ideas fall through because the UFC wants time to be able to properly promote his fights. The idea he was ever fighting anywhere remotely near Jan 1 when USADA is over is laughable.
- USADA said they met in May and everything seemed fine then met again in October and brought up their contract was expiring soon and learned they weren't being renewed. Maybe don't wait 2 months before end date without a renewal in place and you won't suddenly panic that you had no plans for your biggest customer actually leaving you.
- October is also post merger where of course things changed now that it's a different company and so USADA's even dumber for not having thought about that impact.
lol Dana said who gives a shit what USADA thinks about Conor saying he's coming back to fight in December.. but yeah UFC 100% is not shady
I personally believe UFC in this case. USADA came out with a salty statement and UFC is just saying "we're switching from one program to another." Call me a red goof simp if you want but USADA are the ones whinging and UFC are continuing business as usual.
McG vs AldoWhat fight was this from again?
Except the UFC isn't. Conor is literally in USADA's pool right now.
About why the two organizations have parted ways, and USADA's claims it was from their unwillingness to give Conor special treatment.About what?
Found what loophole? And if they tried to close a loophole that allowed PED monitoring to be circumvented, how would that make them look like a joke?USADA was probably mad Conor and whoever else involved (potentially the UFC) found that loophole, and were trying to prevent it from happening as it kinda makes USADA look like a joke.
Dana said Conor is playing by the rules, to leave him alone.
I think it was more the Brock Lesnar exemption fiasco, and them unwilling to get burned like that again. Both are shady as fuck but I think Usada had enough of the UFC bullshit specially after the Jones fiasco, they reputation got affected by how they handle it and they probably won't want any more problem specially from a higher profile athlete like Conor
USADA is the one whose story makes zero sense while the UFC's flows perfectly fine.
