So, we often say wrestler *insert name here* should have been a world champion. Names like Hall, Roberts, DiBiase, etc get thrown around often.

But what about those guys/gals who got a title reign (maybe more than one) who really didn't deserve one?

There are some obvious choices (Jinder, Kofi, Rich), but who in your opinion should have been mid-carder for life?

I'll start:
Rey Mysterio. Only getting the title because his buddy Eddie (who it could be argued should have been midcard for life) died.

At least the ones you mentioned weren't the main champs (SD was clearly the B show before Fox).

David Arquette.

I think Sid, I never got the impression he was 'all in' and overly cared, He would come and go constantly, you would see him wrestle, then he would mysteriously disappear for a few months, then reappear, then another few weeks off, he was never consistent at all. Left the company a few times, and never really stayed long.

I always felt like he was going through the motions, he was fine in the ring, I think his matches were ok, nothing amazing but also not bad, but we just never saw him wrestle much, he always had long gaps.

Anyone over Goldberg in WCW... Should have rode the streak until the wheels fell off in WWE....

Orton was nowhere near ready in 04 but Vince was still butthurt over Brock leaving.

Agree, and the fact he beat [name redacted] just to make him the "youngest ever" when he was nowhere near as over as Brock was obvious

Sgt Slaughter. He only got the belt for cheap heat and his Mania main event sucked. Mr. Perfect should've been the transitional champion.

Big Show was one that never needed the belt and never had ant great runs.
