I noticed that people say that Floyd would KO her with a punch before she could even clinch. Does this rule not apply if he is fighting a male MMA fighter?

you do know theres been tons of research proving men are actually biologically stronger than women right? about twice as strong in the upperbody, do your research. whats between your legs definitely effects your strength and speed.
even rondas mother has stated a female has no place competing with a male in combat sports because the two are just built differently even at the same weight

I'd still give her a good chance because he doesn't know any clinch or ground and that's where she'd get him. Holly knows both of those in addition to the boxing.

The whole male versus female aspect of it is nearly 100% irrelevant. What matters are things like speed, strength and technique of the individual fighters involved.
If you really think someone who knows ZERO grappling or even takedown defense has anything besides a "puncher's chance" against a professional MMA fighter (male or female as again it's irrelevant here) then I don't know what to tell you but to watch UFC 1 again.
...
Great point. Like I keep trying to tell them: gender is irrelevant. Imagine Ronda being a male mixed mixed martial artist with the same power, speed, technique, etc. The answer doesn't change because of that alone. Now when you do this and succeed in getting people to get past the whole male versus female hangup the discussion becomes more relevant and productive.
1. Can Mayweather prevent the takedown?
2. Can Ronda get Mayweather down without getting hurt?
3. If Ronda gets Mayweather down is it pretty much accepted that the fight will be over?
This all sounds lot like UFC 1 type stuff to me...
Really though "woman fighting" and "Boxing" for a large percentage of America means that sexism/nationalism rises up and preplaces all logical thought.
She still would beat up Floyd Mayweather in a street fight.
1. Floyd does not punch as hard as Holly kicks (kinda a no-brainer)
2. Holly has better TD defense than Floyd (who has zero abilities in that department)
3. Ronda Rousey would flying armbar/guard pull Floyd without even needing to getthe TD
Who knows? Floyd looks like a scared little kid outside of the ring.

I can't believe some of you are taking the post 'Lovetap' seriously lol. He/she said 'gender is irrelevant' when it comes to fighting. It's like all of you are a bunch of trolls arguing about it to get other people to comment seriously on it where you can feel smarter about yourselves.
