Who are the Dagestanis in the UFC right now?

The UFC does not run enough shows in the Middle East to support more guys from Dagestan. That is the only real commercial value of them. A place like PFL added a bunch of them and it doesn't do anything for them.

We should not confuse Caucasions with Dagestani people. The UFC would gladly accept more people like Topuria.

America isn't lacking in talent.

Imavov fights nothing like Dagestani. He was laid on by Phill Hawes ffs. Hes about as French kickboxer as there can be. Stylistically. Dont care about anything else. Especially his roots.

Don't know if he fits - FW Murtazali Magomedov, ethnic Avar from Kyrgyzstan, he is not from Dagestan but his ancestors from there it seems.
Lol I'll add him and see if anyone objects

Tohmashmed Aspinalov - Londonistan district of Dagestan

I just realized I seem to have mentally bundled a bunch of the Muslim fighters together as Dagestanis, but people like Chimaev and Belal aren't. (I know Shavkat and Sora aren't, for some reason.)

HW - Shamil Gaziev, Rizvan Kuniev
LHW - Magomed Ankalaev
MW - Ikram Aliskerov, Sharabutdin Magomedov, Nassourdine Imavov, Aliaskhab Khizriev, Abusupiyan Magomedov, Baysangur Susurkaev
WW - Muslim Salikhov, Islam Mackhachev
LW -
FW - Murtazali Magomedov
BW - Umar Nurmagomedov, Said Nurmagomedov
FLW - Tagir Ulanbekov

Not sure if we have any flyweights or featherweights (also, what are the abbreviations for these divisions lol)?

EDIT: additions and corrections. I'm surprised by how many middleweights there are.
The joke of Bo "dagestani killer" Nickal has more of them in MW than any other division but has 0 fights with a dagestan. <36>

Laughable response. They certainly don't have a monopoly on talent but there's still tons of guys whod be ranked, contenders or even champs that just don't get signed. Look at PFL FW tournament winner Khizriev...they didn't sign him god knows why, dude was young, undefeated, supremely athletic, well rounded with a win over Bibert. Lightweight winner is Gadzhi Rabadonov...not the best but would still beat plenty of UFC lightweights. WW tournament winner Shamil Musaev insanely good. Bellator champ at 155 is Usman and 170 is Ramazan Kuramagomedov. There's like an overflow of elite talent out of Dagestani and to an extent the Caucasus and Central Asia the UFC ignores simply because they know that those guys are bad for business. They'll fixate on China, India, Latin America etc for growth.

I keep hearing about this so-called Dagestani dominance, and yet they have zero champions atm, while Australia, Brazil and Georgia have two...the only Russian champion is actually not Dagestani and is representing the United Arab Emirates.
