I let you know that MMA exists out of UFC and Luke Rockhold was already a legitimate Strikeforce MW champ, 7-0 in the promotion, beeating guys who went to climb the top5 ranks in UFC shortly after just like him.

So whatever opinion you have about Rockhold for his UFC run, which was rather short but great btw, add to it his two legitimate defenses before even stepping in UFC

Why someone laugh at the idea of Jacare being a great win I dont understand...
Jardine is not just he beat him, he dispatched in 2 minuts a guy who had just gone to a draw with Mousasi
Also, have you ever heard about Kennedy? Yeah, the guy who totally dominated UFC champion Bisping

Jacare is great, but that's his best win and it's not the tops. Bisping also beat him, who is also higher on the mw GOAT list than rocksalt.

He was the UFC Middle weight champion.

He also beat Wanderlei Silva.

And also has a win over the only guy to beat Jon Jones in Matt Hamill.

The Wanderlei he beat was well into his decline though.

I think accomplished is a better term to use then greatest. So based on 2nd most accomplished fighter I would agree with others that it's between Hendo and Franklin.
