yes that's the question : 1) rematch adesanya 2) vettori for a high risk low reward fight but Rob is a company man so why not

anyway the situation of MW is like that :

1 clear number 1 contender who redeemed his loss to the champ by beating a top contender (rob)
2 guys coming from a loss who need 2 wins to ask for a title shot (costa and jared)
1 up and comer whot needs to prove himself against top contenders (vettori)

the first TS when adesanya come back from dismantling the polish plumber is due to robert i think so rob can wait for it and let jared x costa x vettori fight for the next one.

It's become all too common for guys to sit out for extended periods of time while waiting a for a title shot. I don't like it. I think Costa vs Whittaker and Jared vs Vettori makes more sense, given the current situation. Winners could probably face each other for a title shot before Izzy is ready to defend again. This is assuming Izzy even has plans to defend or keep the MW title, and/or doesn't get stripped.

Too much holding out and wasting potential matchups lately. #1 bullshit.

Divisions in a weird spot right now . Whittaker wasn't supposed to beat Till or Cannonier , hell I love Bobby Knuckles and was sure Cannonier was gonna run over him . Whittaker deserves a re match with Adesanya I know he'll probably just get destroyed again but what can you do he beat 2 top contenders convicngly and was the champion thems the facts . Costa has to do something similar before he's even in the conversation.

I agree but Whittaker has already beaten a killer in Cannonier. His Till win was good, although Till is massively overrated. Costa needs to win like 3 more IMO. They should do Marvin vs Whittaker and Costa vs Holland/Brunson Winner. Cannonier is out for a while because of a broken arm I think. He could face Till or rematch Hermansson.
