I think I was unclear in that post. UFC would love an American winner in the main event. If its in the cards, the UFC will play that hand.

I'm talking about the weight of Americans losing on this card. I don't think it will really matter.

If Americans come out with a losing record after the show, the people that hate Americans will have fuel for a week, and nothing meaningful will happen, we'll all move on.

The UFC doesn't make that much money from tickets sales when you subtract the cost of the venue.

Plus if this ends up on network TV then most of the revenue is going to be advertisements regardless
