Whiskey, War, Suicide, and Guns

Obviously you haven't been following Tuchscherer very closely. Jesus > Dianabol.

What was wrong with the old "Monster Truck" title? Everyone seemed to like that one.

No, fuck you, you ruined it. Now I'm going to stamp out your push jerk and bench PR out of spite. I'm also going to learn to dominate farmer's holds. I'm also going to get Tayon to lift consistently.

What's all this log title talk?

Hasn't it always been "Whiskey, War, Suicide, and Guns"? Even that seems a little compensatory...

Awesome PRs.

I love how the safety bars on your power rack are bent!

Decent day back to deadlifting. Picked up where I left off. Back felt strong, but grip wasn't great. Been over a month since pulling this heavy and had trouble holding onto some of them. Should come back fast. Did some light beltless squatting, felt great and fast.

Wow, great day of lifting!

my dry elbows caused a horrific grip day on deadlifts last week. I've been trying to switch to hook or at least double over hand.

Meh day. Wasn't feeling it.

Would you recommend Sheiko? I've read a few of your posts on it and it seemed like you recommend it, as long as people understand that you are going to make slow but steady gains. I believe the post was in 2008, has anything changed from that? Form is something I want to work on, I also want to work on being able to handle a higher workload.

If you do, would doing 37 be a good choice. I've also read in Chases log that he went 25lbs under in his Squat and like 15lbs higher in bench. Is that something you did? Is there anything you would of changed looking back now?

I appreciate it, thank you

If you are looing to increase the big 3 I would recomend it. I would start out with #29 or #37. Use the % as written at first and if you need to make adjustments from there, go ahead. Everyone is different, but most people will find that bench needs to be increased some.

You recently set a strict press PR.

I recently set a jerk/overhead PR.

....

Your press PR was 5 lbs more.

Good day. After I did my planned 4 sets, I decided to put on my knee wraps and see how it felt. Definitely gives you a pretty good boost, though it jacked up my form a good bit. I also almost face planted on the way to the rack.

If you had used Frantz's TP 5000 3m knee warps, you would have squatted 495x7.

Nice lifting.
