Hit my goal I set. I am super stoked after today. This pushes my gym PL total to 1540. Tony hit a 20 pound PR and just missed a 30 by an inch, he'll get it as soon as he tries again.
I need to take my belt out a notch. I had a mega bloat going on today because I ate a whole Digornio pizza last night in preparation and it was way too tight, I couldn't push out good and stay as tight as I need to be. I had taken it out a notch during Smolov, but it felt loose on Wednesday when I push pressed, so I took it back in a notch. Should have left it alone, it was clearly pinching me in half a little especially on the 545.
Now before everyone runs off and does Smolov, remember that my current 507 PR wasn't a true max and was done after a workout session, so it's probably closer to a 20-25 pound true max PR. Which is what most people who aren't noobs seem to get from my scouring internet logs.
