I found a good hill to run but it started raining on the way home. Winter will be here in a few weeks and I figure I need to get outside as much as possible for this stuff because come January the treadmill will make me want to off myself. We don't have fancy pants ones with TV's, just a brick wall to stare at.

Really looking forward to a deload week, but still hit some good weight on this day. Form felt tight even though I was fatigued. Wheels kind of fell off my lifting program, but I will make some tweaks to organizing things to bring things back to where they need to be next block. I have a week to think about it.

Overhead felt great today. Blasted my push press PR, and on a whim decided to try and get my long standing goal of a 2 wheel press. Super pumped to nail that. Shoulder strength is definetely moving in the right direction. Also, it's pretty obvious in the rack position that my left shoulder is more flexible. Need to work on that.

I just took a leak and dump and weighed 226.4 butt ass naked. So I guess I can't claim a bodyweight press yet. :(

What are your thoughts about squatting in front of a mirror? I do it all the time.
 
I hate it and it completely fucks me up. No mirrors at meets so I'm not going to build a reliance on those cues.
 
That is what I was thinking. I'm going to turn around tomorrow and squat the other way.

Why PP when you can jerk it?

I wanted a balance between really working on pressing strength and also getting some leg drive involved. Push press is halfway and seems to be working for me. I hadn't done a strict press with a barbell for about 3 months and still hit a big PR just doing push press.

And I like to pretend I am Big Z.
