Which Male Champ Has the Strongest Resume After Jones?

Fong is the type of moron to say that Poatan was being protected from Vettori at MW lol.
Such a long time watching the sport with literally zero knowledge to show for it. One of the sadder posters on the forum.
I don’t understand Pereira haters. He’s everything we’ve wanted in a champion for the last 20+ years in one cool and humble guy and suddenly, some are calling for a LHW Jon Fitch to come out and wet blanket him. The whole thing is so bizarre.

I’ve seen too many awesome eras end before I truly appreciated them to let the Pereira title run go unappreciated.

Ankalaev may not be be the best grappler in the world, but he would still be the best grappler Poatan has ever fought. That's exactly the point.

You Poatan fluffers are such simps that even when you deny the reality that he is ducking Ankalaev (and taking ridiculous fights like Khalil instead), you still end up reinforcing the case that Poatan has been protected from grapplers his entire run.

And then try to convince you that this same guy who has never fought a grappler worth a damn can somehow have the best resume in a sport defined by grappling.

It's hilarious.
He’s not ducking Anklaev. Anklaev could have signed a contract and fought him already. The UFC confirmed Anklaev is next. You’re just delusional and pulling shit out of your ass.

But yeah, I get it. Everybody sucks And knocking out like 5 former champs is meaningless right? hes a duck and going 4-0 in title defences in one year against the top of the division doesn’t mean anything apparently.

There’s nobody more delusional than you on here. Nobody. I can’t wait to see your spin on things when Pereira caves in Anklaev’s skull. Who will the guy who fights top guys every 4 months be ducking then? Who’s next?

Aspinall best wins - Blaydes, Pavlovich, Volkov
Pereira best wins - Izzy, Jiri, Hill, Strickland, Jan
Dricus best wins - Izzy, Strickland, Whittaker
Belal best wins - Leon, Wonderboy, Brady, Burns, Luque
Islam best wins - Oliveira, Arman, Volk, Poirier, Hooker
Topuria best wins - Volk, Holloway, Emmett
Merab best wins - O’Malley, Yan, Aldo
Pantoja best wins - Moreno, Royval, Kape

My vote goes to Alex who has beaten 5 former or current champs
I would have to do with DDP. Alex having beat 5 former champs is fine but 2 were at MW and everyone at LHW is a former champ because none of them could hold onto it. DDP beat Izzy & Rob who were not just solid reigning champs in the MW division but have stayed at the top of the division fighitng all comers despite various styles. Alex is a great MMA kickboxer as long as he fights kickboxers.

Obviously Islam's resume is the best, beating a "former champ" isn't inherently better than beating a top contender. Poirier who has never won an undisputed belt is a better fighter/win than Hill or Jiri. Charles + Volk 2x are also much better than any of Alex's wins at LHW, Izzy is a good win but he's also 1-1 with Alex.

It was a great and epic run.
I think his time is coming to an end. I heard he was 37. Reflexes are the first thing to go around that age. Then things fall apart fast, look at Anderson Silva.

Hopefully, he picks up a few more W's, I think he has a couple more in him.

Over Islam and Poatan? I love the decisionater but thats one spicy take.

14-1-in his last 15 fights. 6 of his last wins all top 5 and 10 fighters.

Edwards - champion
Burns, Wonderboy and Maia all title contenders at one point
Luque - top 10 opponent
Brady - top 10 opponent
