Which famous person death would emotionally affect you?

i hope so, no one knows. In fact, I had a dream of someone who passed 6 months ago, encouraging me, I wondered if it was his spirit as I do anytime I dream of anyone who's passed.

This isn't the full story, this guy was studying criminology at the time in Berkeley university, working with murderers and rapists in San Quentin prison.

The mystical dream experience made him switch to study Parapsychology, so he could focus on the positive aspects of deviant psychology instead of the negative. He is the only person to receive a doctorate in the field of Parapsychology in America.

After the dream of his uncle he didn't know how to go about making the academic switch, but after months of agonizing suddenly felt that the answer was gonna come to him in another dream; and that night he had a dream that he walked over to a friends place and no one was home so he finds a key to go inside, once inside he sees a magazine titled Eye on the floor.
When he woke up he walked over to that friends house, no one was home and he finds a key.
Once inside he finds a magazine on the living room floor called Focus, and realizes he can work in the field of non-profit media.
He volunteered to be a doorman on a non-profit radio network that sponsored that magazine and not long after a few weeks he had learned how to produce a radio show which he developed and gets approved after submitting it to the director. Ever since then he has had a TV show and now a podcast where he interviews major figures in the parapsychology field.

After the radio show got going he realized he could take advantage of an obscure rule in his University where if you are a graduate in good standing and you want to do a doctoral dissertation in a topic where no department will sponsor you but get enough faculty members from different departments to sponsor it you can create you own interdisciplinary major, so he did that in a field that applies the scientific method to psychic phenomena.

I've seen a little of his stuff, very interesting. The dreams i've had of the dead are usually, if not always symbolic but some seem so real that I do wonder. The first was when i was 9 and dreamt of my recently dead father, we played handball, I sensed we both knew he was in the other world but neither of us said it, we just enjoyed each others company, the ball was a link, something we both had contact with because we couldn't reach each anymore.

the one last night, it was odd too but it felt good, I felt warmth from the guy, who was not a warm person at all, at least on the surface.

The only one left that will make me say "awww" is Mel Brooks. I don't care about celebrities unless they were a part of some developmental stage in my life (the last one for me was Stan Lee). I lived on Mel's movies when I was younger.

history of the world part 2 is stilll one of the nuttiest, funniest things I've ever seen. Young Frankenstein isn't far behind. But he probably should have given Richard Pryor the shot for Blazing Saddles. I've heard different things about why he didn't, one is understandable, Richard was unstable and a drug user who sometimes didn't show up.

And speaking of Richard, his death hit me fairly hard too. Me and my stepdad used to watch his stuff as I grew up. By the time he passed, he was more or less forgotten. As I say, people have short memories. Loved his stuff growing up. Mel's movies were funny but nothing was funnier than Which Way Is Up. Love Richard for a lot of reasons, sensitive, deep, tortured and the greatest comic to ever do it.

Died the night our wrestling team won sectionals

Died the day I graduated high school
crazy how some of these people die, we think they have such great lives and they end up od'ing and getting shot up by their wives. Just goes to show, no one has it all together.

It's true that celeb culture should be gotten rid of (I'm a hypocrite) and I think it's great that all these weinsteins and cosbys were knocked down. Celeb culture indulges a lot of idiotic behavior.

David Tibet, Michael Gira, Nick Cave. They're getting close to being "can die at any point" old, so I'll be sad when it actually happens.

Some famous person alive to today, that there death would affect you somewhat deeply.

Probably this guy.

None. Honestly. I'm a middle aged man, I no longer have celebrity heros or emotional investment in "stars".

Idk who that is in the OP, but he looks a bit like Mark Morton from Lamb of God, in which case I agree with the OP.

Who gives a fuck if someone who wouldnt slow down to spit on you if you were on fire died?

Clint as grew up watching his movies big part of my childhood. Arnold and Sly too.

Selena Gomez and Amy Lee (Evanescence).

I have to first cast soul trap in them so that when they die, their souls get transported to my dungeon.

If they die now, they go to heaven and I ain't getting them.
