Which famous person death would emotionally affect you?

Right now? I don't know, as I've gotten older, I've cared less and less about celebrities or artists. They come and they go.

The ones in my life that hit pretty hard were Chris Farley, Phil Hartmann, Heath Ledger, Amy Winehouse, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I was also pissed when Anton Yelchin died, and in such a seemingly senseless way, because I was excited to see more Odd Thomas movies.

Too young to care when River Phoenix died. I didn't like Nirvana until years later, so I didn't care when Kurt died. Frankly, I was annoyed by the theatrics from so many classmates when Brandon Lee died (he made one movie, and it wasn't even that good). Not a rap fan, so I didn't much care when Tupac or Biggie died. I cared more when Mac Miller died, but not as much as Ariana Grande, apparently, LOL (poor Pete). I like John Candy, but I wasn't bummed when he died. I'm American, so I don't care when princesses die. I liked Paul Walker, but I was more upset by his carelessness on a public road than to see him go early. I didn't care when Kobe died, his basketball days were over.

Sucked when Matt Perry, Anne Heche, and Whitney Houston died, but none had been doing anything recently, so I didn't feel robbed.

Nicely said, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Not sure I would be wrecked, I would be like damn ! if Sly and Arnold dies. Maybe a few athletes I idolized for a lot of years. But when parents die of cancer, some close ones and pets, it doesn't really compare.

I'd be sad if Quentin dies before making his final movie.

And I'd be sad if Elon dies. I liked him way before he was a political figure.

I will be sad with some guys, as it will signify the end of some special times in my life. When Eddie Van Halen died, I was bummed. I will be sad when Bruce Willis passes. When Arnold passes, I think we will all feel some sadness.....dude did so many of our favorite films. He has 3 of my top 10 all time sci fi movies ever.

More disappointed than sad, especially if they die young. Musicians like Jimi Hendrix who died at 27 makes me sad because there was so much great music and guitar work left in him that I will never be able to hear.

If a member of the current Pantera roster died then they'd have to cancel the show in July that is going to be me and my sons first concert together, so that would make me sad.

I think they are pretty much all sober now, nothing to worry about. Have seen the current lineup twice, was a blast.

I thought it was really sad the way Gene Hackman just went.

But I don’t get invested in celebrities

Drugs, they'd been doing lots of drugs.
That they had. You wonder if Lindsay Lohan saw that drug binge lifestyle all leads to the same pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, how those three all found it, and maybe it's not a leprechaun to trifle with. Looks like she got scared clean, and it sure as hell suits her.

Anthony Bourdain did but that's because No Reservations helped me see the world differently when I was younger.

I don't see me being emotionally affected by any celeb now or future.

to a certain degree movie stars, celebrities enter our lives through our TV. Overall though i can't think of anyone on TV, in movies, or elsewhere in the entertainment business that has a mental hold on me.

I enjoy comedy. Laughter is good medicine I suppose. Being entertained with a comedy can be uplifting but I don't believe I would overly miss anyone in comedy these days. Comedy isn't what it used to be anymore unfortunately. To many comedians these days are overly political and preachy and not much fun to like.

There's always some shock when someone dies young but I don't think I would ever be affected much by a celebrity passing.

Cobain, Princess Diana and Kobe were probably the biggest shocks that I can remember off the top of my head.

Dimebag Darrell, I was not only lucky enough to be inspired by him which led me on a musical journey which gave me my greatest life experiences but I was able to meet him and call him a friend.

I was absolutely crushed when the news broke, I felt sick to my stomach, like I was high on mushrooms, nothing felt real like it was a dream.

Putin. I would be very happy. Like very very happy.

Chuck Norris
John Carmack
