Which do you prefer watching MMA fights in the ring or cage?

I like the cage but I wish they'd switch the colour up more often. I like the white floor, the yellow one they did a couple times looks better too than the default grey

Cage. Mainly because it gives MMA a distinct identity, but it also serves a practical purpose with the grappling aspect.

MMA in a ring is fine though.

I like the ring, but there is no doubt the cage is better suited for MMA

Well the thread title says watching so I picked ring because it looks the coolest, but because of fighters falling out and resets I think the cage is more practical.

I always wondered if they should try a ring where the space between the outer edge of the ring and the outside of the ropes is significantly bigger to make it safer for fighters going through the ropes.

MMA fighters having to deal with the ropes is god-damned fucking stupid, even if you make it safer. Keep that shit the fuck away from grappling.

I prefer MMA in a ring with soccer kicks and knees to a downed opponent. That's
what MMA looks like.
