Where should I travel next in Asia?

I've been going on a trip to a different Asian country every few months recently. Even though I just got back from Vietnam, I am already thinking of where to go next. I have a trip to Hawaii in planned september (tickets already booked, super excited to visit the US again), and a road trip within Korea tentatively planned with my buddy when he comes to visit, but nothing else before or after then.

So far I'm torn between visiting Vietnam/Japan again or going somewhere I haven't been.
Taiwan
Thailand
I've thought about doing some volunteer work in Nepal as well
Since Japan is so close to Korea, I could do a weekend trip to Fukuoka or something at the very least.
Are Myanmar and Cambodia worth visiting?

depends what you want to do man.

Cambodia has Angkor Wat

Myanmar I dont think has anything equivalent. You may as well go to Bangladesh.

I guess you haven't been to Myanmar then as it has a lot of impressive temples. Google Shwedagon Pagoda and Bagan for examples.

Here is a photo outside my hotel from the last time I was in Yangoon.

Thailand.

Cool adventure for you.....I'm hoping to do a similar tour later this year, maybe one month in each place. Have you been to Malaysia? That's number one on my list.

Philippines were amazing, I did Bohol and Boracay islands

I'm open to almost everything but good food and natural scenery would be my priority.

Thailand.

Why so? I haven't been but a lot of Koreans go to kota kinabalu but I never saw the appeal in it. Koreans go there basically to get massages and chill in the hotels it seems though.

I've been Cebu which was great for the nature but the Philippines wasn't somewhere I wanted to go again.

Taiwan is good then. fucking great food and the island has some nice scenery when you get out of Taipei. The roads are also some of the best in Asia. I rented a bike and drove around the island. So much better driving there than in Thailand.

Spend a few days in Taipei then do a trip around he island. Taipei itself is a fucking great city and the food is REALLY good. The night markets are also very very good. Shilan Night Market was my favorite. It is also so easy to get around Taipei with the MRT system. Its much more sprawled out than Thailand. The one thing that you might struggle with and need to consider is hotels. They are a lot more scarce and if it is a busy time, you can literally have almost every hotel booked out in a city/town. I ended up having to stay at some hello kitty sex dungeon a couple years ago as all the hotels were booked out the night before new years eve.

As far as outside taipei, i recommend these places.

Taroki National Park
Taichung
Xiaoliuqiu
Yushan National Park

Taiwan/Taipei is my favorite place in asia after Thailand/Bangkok

Amazing beaches but awful fucking food and annoying accents/locals

if you go back, checkout Palawan.

Thailand.

Why Malaysia? Which part interests you so much to make it number 1? Just curious as I've been there 20-30 times and it is an odd choice.

Not to get off-topic, but it's a better standard of living than where I am....not too expensive and a very good value. Few sexpats, so foreigners are regarded a little better by the locals. Good retirement program also......if I should want to stay long term. Not to mention great food, beaches, and shopping.

I thought you were poor. All this traveling is very unpoorlike.
