Hes sucked for years cause hes old now, but there was absolutely a time where he was a real benefit to the UFC. He was a good looking youngish dude with some name value and a passion for the sport, he also encapsulated that college dudebro vibe back then and that was essentially the UFCs target demographic in the days where it first started booming.

Him and Goldie played off really well against each other as the odd couple pairing too. Informal stoner bro + oddly endearing corporate guy with the cheesy smile. I miss it.

Anyone at the highest level is, otherwise you wouldn't be allowed to be in that position.

Most of what you hear these public figures say doesn't actually represent their normal viewpoints behind the scenes.

I don't take that stuff seriously because it isn't real. It's not the actual person.

When I analyze intelligence, I'm analyzing the real person.

The real person is who exists behind the masks.

Anyone who takes those stances at face value and in an absolute way, is nowhere near as smart as you think they are.

They've simply been drawn into the black and white, politicized game that everyone else has.

Truly intelligent people don't exist in the black and white.

When he was doing dmt and high doses of thc/ mushrooms in his isolation chamber and meditating every day while talking about mysticism and ancient history

Hes never been political.

Never been into isms or chosen sides in any of these petty squabbles.

That's the real Rogan.

I don't take the other stuff seriously because it isn't real. It's someone putting on a mask and playing the game because they have to.

20-30 years ago if someone competed in tkd order karate, the level of respect they got as martial artists was immense. Now, unless you've actually competed in MMA, regardless of age, you're a bum.

It's pretty ridiculous. Traditional martial artist may not necessarily hang in an MMA fight, but theyre worthy of respect.

I think it's very easy to shit on those guys when you aren't actually training yourself though.

It's very easy to cherry pick the worst of someone and fixate on that in an absolute way. But you'll never actually understand anyone with any sort of depth without considering the fullnpidture.

We're both jiu jitsu black belts, but he's at least a foot shorter, 70 lbs lighter, ten years older, and has a bad neck.

I really don't think he'd be much of an issue in sparring at this point in time.


Joe is not a 6'4" 255 lb sherdogger.

That being said he is a total schill for Thiel and Musk, and that's much worse than being a manlet.
