What do you say , it's all about ego , and how you can manage it .
I think people with bad anger management should start with weed consumption to help them become peaceful persons.
There are all sorts of things that can make someone angry that have nothing to do with ego. And weed doesn't calm everyone down. It makes some people more anxious. These are the things that worked for him and that's good, but everyone is different.
Sure I can relate, I grew up rough too. Anger was my main source of strength for many years. Have to have a chip on your shoulder to survive adversity. The guy went to jail, probably at some point he matured. But Mike had a terrible upbringing, all sorts of trauma, uncontrolled ego was just a way to defend himself probably.
It’s probably purely psychological. Either that, or it’s a trait that was inherited because all the cavemen with massive egos just killed all the other cavemen and their children.I agree.
A modern man's own ego is both his worst performing asset and his worst enemy.
No matter how many times you shed it through meditation, rigorous physical training, psychedelic and empathogenic drugs, etc. ... it creeps back.
The ego must have it's roots in evolutionary biology somehow. What benefit it offered to early man, I don't know. Maybe involved in risk assessment and risk taking? Fight or flight, for example? Getting angry and warring, like Iron Mike suggested?
