When will America leave? 3.5 million march

As it relates to Iraq and Iran at least. Aren't the largest importers of crude to the US Canada and the Saudis now?

Yes, and with the assistance of the Tides Foundation and the Oil Sands Initiative, the U.S. buys Canadian crude at massive discounts because the Canadian oil is land-locked and there is no alternative buyer. This provides them a low cost supply of oil to refine while also blocking Canada from being a competitor on the global scene. They have also sanctioned the hell out of Iran so that they cannot bring their oil to market. The CIA also heavily influenced Ukraine to ditch Russia and block the pipelines into Europe and then immediately put one of their ex-directors on the board of Burisma. They also tried to destroy Syria for basically the same reason. The U.S. is trying to push Russia out of the European natural gas market and become the alternative supplier. The Friendship Pipeline was conveniently delayed by the Syria Civil War, for example.

we dont need theyre oil. we out produce them now

Yes, you do.

But it also helps the profit margins if you eliminate your competition and control the market i.e. block Iran from selling oil, fund environmental groups to stall pipelines in Canada so that the oil is landlocked and the U.S. is the only buyer, etc.

We don't need the oil. We are energy independent again.

Our CIA and oligarchs want to control everyone else's oil though.

Remember when ISIS rose up as they tried to exit? That's what people in power are scared of happening again.
Wouldn't have to worry about that if Soleimani wasn't dead, the likes of him and Nasrallah are enough of a check against Sunni jihadism. But of course the US isn't actually worried about Sunni jihadism as evidenced by how quickly it'll arm and train Sunni jihadists when it becomes convenient.

Mr Trump just armed Al-Nusra, oops I mean the free Syrian army with more weapons in Idlib.

They had 20 years to train an Iraqi army to protect the boarders. They literally could have raised the army from 1 year old infants into adult soldiers in this time. There are no excuses.

As costs rise, more US and Canadian facilities become feasible and NA production would rise significantly. OPEC is a shell of its former self. Even the near collapse of Venezuelan oil production has had a muted effect on world oil prices.

Which means more expensive oil.

You are right about Venzuela though.
