Seems like a while ago.

WMMA doesn't count.

Defensive BJJ is dead.

I don't know. There are so many damn fights these days and fighters. I'm autistic and it's what I do basically to memorize useless shit on an encyclopedic level, obsessively. And it's starting to be impossible for me lmao. But yeah I don't remember who the hell it was but some dude triangled someone, pretty sure it was in the UFC. It was a damn good triangle. Some chick got an armbar just the other night, no?

didn't someone get submitted by a triangle choke recently in the flyweight division?

edit: yup, matt schnell in UFC newark, literally like less than 2 weeks ago...

Probably olyniks Ezekiel choke lol

Please note it’s ‘of his back’ not ‘off his back’ so we need to be referring to spine submissions.

Lol I obviously didn't watch that shit FlyWeight fight.

But nice find thank you.

Just go through the cards and have a look instead of speaking out of your ass lol

People have fallen into Paul Craig's triangle a couple of times.

I do think its still a very valuable skill set as by threatening with a sub or sometimes even faking the threat you may transition into a better position.
