When it comes to cheating which sex is the worst offender?

I just learned today that one of my old buddies recently got a divorce after he found out his wife was cheating on him. I started thinking about it and out of all the people I have in my circle (friends, family, coworkers) I can think of at least 6 couples where cheating happened recently. In all six situations it was the woman that cheated on the guy. WTF?! Growing up it seems like I always had it in my mind that us men were the cheaters. We are just dumb, horny animals that can only think with our dicks. Based on everything I have been seeing recently it looks the exact opposite!

I think men were historically more likely to cheat simply b/c they had more access to ways to cheat. They worked more out of the house and tended to have more alone time away from family and kids.
Now with the Internet and the working women and the stay at home women who get bored I'm guessing it's pretty even. If you believe the ads that always pop up on certain sites I visit there are TONS of women (18 year olds, milfs, fat chicks. grannies, lonely women, etc.) in my area (sometimes only 2 miles away!!) that just want to bang and I don't even need a credit card to sign up!
