@Bouboumaster
What on his resume shits all over Fedor, Anderson, bones, Amanda and MM?
Can you name his greatest wins and give us 3 essential Georges st Pierre moments that cement his legacy?
Fedor is the only one in the same convo has GSP. I'd say that GSP's record is much better, but you can argue for Fedor as the GOAT, no problems there.
I'm pleased to see that you're a fan of Nunes too. Again, you can argue with here (yet again, GSP's record is >>> Nunes), but what she did in WMMA is crazy impressive. I have her in my top 10, as of now. Beating Cyborg on top of cleaning the 135 lbs division is badass.
I have Mighty Mouse between #3 and #5, with Khabib and DC. Yet again, what's weighting against him is his strenght of schedule.
Anderoid and Jones are disqualified for being cheaters, it's simple as that. I'd have Jones as the GOAT if not of his cheating ways. GSP's record > Jones, but the way Jones did it is much more impressive. However, he's a fucking cheater, who fled tough competition after he had to fight clean. So he can go fuck himself. Silva crushed cans, sucked before the UFC and mostly sucked in his later days too. No respect for him.
Greatest wins of GSP: in terms of pure ranking: Hughes, Shields and Penn I'd say.
Hughes was either the MMA GOAT or 2nd behind only Fedor at this point. Whatever you think of him, it was his ranking.
Shields is a top 20 fighter of all time, at the very least, and again, even if you don't like the way he fought, he still has a victory over Dan Henderson aka "Best victory of Silva).
Penn was also a all-time great.
Bisping was a pretty dope (he went up and win a title) and he finished the dude, fair and square. Something Silva couldn't do.
3 essential moments:
- Winning the title from Hughes, which was the passing of the torch, and the beginning of GSP's legacy (with a small hiccup in Serra's form)
- The masterful and complete domination of perennial contender Jon Fitch
- The GOAT retire on top after finishing Bisping and winning a second divisionnal title
That was easy
