International When Grifters Wilfully Misunderstand Basic Censorship: Musk Edition

Lol at the left talking about anyone deliberately misunderstanding anything. Its been your entire gameplan for the past 15 years.
the world and its culture changing as you get old is not anyone else misunderstanding anything lol you're a grandpa now seano, this same thing happened to YOUR grandfather 40-50 years ago and his grandfather 40-50 years before that

Just making sure you know this is a thread about international use of ai images, since you brought up America and Epstein

Yes the logic behind that one was potentially being attacked by an American about Britain protecting child predators when Americans can't really take any high ground in that regard. Turns out the guy wasn't American so fair enough, he can.

Im certain it wouldn’t, there is already a market for underdeveloped women and i presume men…..

So how would the person making images on Photoshop make the image without using an actual image of a naked child to use to put the face of the child they want to make the fake image of onto?

I had to look it up because I'm not obsessed. The youngest accuser is 11, missing out by a year in some countries. The ones I've previously read about were older, based on American law, illegal but other countries..... not always the case. Looks like a lot of countries don't have an age of consent at all.
The accusation that the UK doesn't protect children from predators imported from countries where they can take child brides can be debated in my opinion.

So I'll say I dislike AI. I didn't approve of AI making approximation nudes or porn. I don't approve of animated depictions of child porn. AI shouldn't be used to make nonconsensual porn. I guess the question lies in the law of the country the user resides. There should be some roadblocks and possibly legal penalties for engaging in AI for those uses. Just like there is for illegal sex tourism.

It's a difficult situation since it involves international laws, religions, and theoretically biological programming, and, if simulated a thought crime. Also included is the use of VPN, and their legality in some locations. The only thing I'm sure of is sherdog won't come up with a consensus answer.

Well we never come up with a consensus answer on anything that's why the war room exists.

I do know the answer I just want someone who's saying "well they could just use Photoshop so this isn't an issue" to try and answer.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the consensus answer is AI companies based on the US cannot be used to generate any porn. Any other civalised country can and should follow, if that makes sense. We have access to plenty of legal porn. This still leaves the VPN question

But an American company like X shouldn't allow any country to use their AI to create kiddy porn. I don't think that's a disagreeable statement.

That's what I meant by making it so "ai Companies based in the US cannot be used to generate porn", which would include children, celebrities, girls you stalk, hate or just want to embarrass. Consensus! Now how do we make politicians see this?

I'm in the UK so in this case they're already on Elon's case regarding it. Hopefully the US government gets on his back about it too.

Well thanks to Trump this has to a federal law, so while he is in power it may be an uphill battle.

Dude we're talking about people making AI kiddy porn. I wouldn't personally class that under free speech.

Clearly bad.... but X had all sorts of terrible people in that regard which has been cleaned up. They need to get it all.

We don't while the Trump regime is in office. It's completely financed by AI accelerationists, and they oppose any regulations on AI. That's why they banned states from passing their own regulations.

EDIT: to expand on this, AI accelerationists like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Mark Andreesen, etc. believe that anything that hinders the development of AI as evil. Thiel has even gone so far as to say that anyone who does so could be the antichrist. Much of this stems from their belief in things like Roko's Basilisk. These people are the power behind the power of the GOP right now, and they are all deeply antihuman lunatics.
