When do you leave a job?

Then only time I've ever quit a job is when I had another one already lined up. Unless you have a really nice nest egg in the bank, having a crappy job >>> not having any job at all.

Not so good on the nest egg part.

It's never worth quitting a job unless you have a backup plan. Either tons of money in the bank or another job lined up.

To me it's time to move on when you are either restricted from growth, unhappy with the money, too stressful or dread going in.

The last one is a little harder because I've determined no matter what the job is, I'm eventually going to hate it. I'm sure even Ron Jeremy had days where he didn't want to work.

Work is work. It's always going to suck no matter what it is. As long as I can pay my bills, have some extra spending money and not be stressed out then I can deal with the job. Money is definitely the deciding factor though.

A*shole bosses are easy to deal with. Do your job better (usually). A**hole co-workers are 100000000000000x worse. Because there is nothing useful you can do to please them. And usually, they are pricks because they realize their wife would probably rather bone you then them if they had the chance. I have dealt with the worst bosses and the most immature not production focused workers, the workers are worse. Because their focus on things that have nothing to do with the task at hand offends me.

EDIT: And to answer TS's question, when you have found a better job.

When things are going bad, anyways. My boss my be the biggest asshole known to mankind. Some days it's just ridiculous. When do you finally decide, "Enough is enough" ???

For me it was last week (Thurs). Retard boss emails me why am i not at work, I tell him my vacation that he APPROVED in our time management software kicked in that Monday, I'll see him on the 31st. Then he says 'oh how did that get approved, I sure didn't do it. I need you in here asap to resolve this list of issues or I'll have let you go'.

IN my case I already had another job lined up to start Jan 7th, and he had pulled almost the exact same vacation shit last year (among a ton of other things) so I rolled in, gave him a nice flowery resignation quitting on the spot, and walked out.

Side note, the letter I gave him, if you spell out the first letter of each sentence, spells out GO FUCK YOURSELF. Hahahaha he'll probably have that thing in my file for the next 20 years and never catch on!

How did you have a position lined up like that, even when you hadn't planned on quitting?

Plan A is after I've clandestinely fathered my boss' next child.

Plan B is after I've found another job.

Get you a sugar mama, son.

Then you can chill all day, play Far Cry, and post on Sherdog like your boy here.

Do you just make out with thier wives in Qudoba parking lots?

That lady was actually kinda terrible looking.. She looked like somebodies mom. But she was in a beamer, and the picnic we had after that encounter was great. She brought all kinds of fruit and sandwiches, it made her look even more like somebodies mom or aunt than she did before. We got freaky in the woods lol

She was probably about 42-44, I was 30. (a couple years ago)
