I'm convinced red dots on pistols were originally just some dude trying to make all his gear as "tactical" as fucking possible. Never crossed my mind id need a red dot for a 20 foot shot

They first appeared on open race guns.

Having a fixed nonrecipricating dot is way faster than irons. The evolution to milled slides on regular guns having a reciprocating dot is faster than irons and makes shooting at distance more quickly easier. Aids in tracking and realignment. I find it easier to be quite a bit more accurate with as well or at least it's more effortless. Especially the further out you get.

Just installed the TriggerTech diamond. It's fucking phenomenal. The reset distance is so short it's almost nonexistent. Incredibly crisp break, zero creep. First stage is .25 lb. Basically just feels like 1mm or so of take up. Second stage is 1.25 - 3.75 lb. Trigger is really nice.

Do you like that short throw safety? Been debating grabbing one for my 10.5" even though I have the Geissele ultra duty LPK on the way with the Geissele ambi one.

Cerakote is done, it's on it's way to me atm. Still waiting on a couple small parts to ship but the 6.5 build should be done at the end of the month.

I've considered trying forward controls ambi safety but the radian is so easy to install and works well.

You can at times find SVI infinity 2011's for 5-6k.

I have a hard time believing that Alien would be better than this.

Hell imo either of those are a lot for a pistol. The new CZ TS 2 is likely similarly badass for significantly less.

Agreed. Though by the time I've got my hands on this sucker the high-rollers will have probably been satisfied and the price will be closer to what I've paid.

Well you could always watch the prices and throw it up starting at 7+ or whatever and see if they're any takers.
