I know he at least was in the military but he definitely was an LSD sort of MOS guy, large steel desk.

He certainly feels like he is compensating for something along the way.

It might be a reliability issue. I would hope they would have tried a system for both.

Waiting on a barrel for the carry module. I might buy a X series slim compact module as well. I can still use the 3.9 slide. That is the medium X series carry module. It is very comfortable, great texture, great ergos. Just dry practicing I can reloaded quickly and get back in the gun very quickly and comfortably.

As a member of the Legion now lol I get a free 5.11 tactical pistol range case. I should have it in 1-3 months. Plus I can now shop for exclusive legion gear.

Well I went into the local gun store here to buy a consignment Glock 23 I had seen a week ago. Rewind to last week, they had two priced at 425 each, both came with 3 mags. Not a great price, not terrible.

Had the guy pull both out to compare. One seemed fairly good, gen 3, night sights were donesies, and a good amount of wear. Two looked like it was newer, gen 3, still had the copper factory lube. Just to remind myself, I asked what came with each. Store guy says just the one mag and the gun. I thought, "Huh, that's weird," and explained to the guy that they both came with 3 mags just like a factory glock less than a week ago. He shrugged his shoulders.

As I'm walking out I go to pick up a fun stick for my glock 17, and wouldn't you know it, they have 4 used Glock 23 mags in non factory packaging for 30 bucks a piece hanging there. I go back to the gun counter and explain the math. 425 + 30 + 30 = close to a brand new gen 5 Glock. I chastised them a bit more for the profiteering and left. I'll never go there again. This is a shop now selling steel cased 556 for 20 bucks a box. Fuck them.

So, long story short, the competing gun shop was able to find me something and I'll post pics when I get it.
