Ever since the ATF recently came out and said you could shoulder them again I've wanted to build a .300 Blackout pistol with like an 8" or 10" barrel

So up next is a dead air key brake and an adjustable gas block. Thinking SLR sentry 7. But I'm not sure. Probably will make up mind and order over the weekend.

I read about the superlative arms with gas bleed but saw a video that showed a loss of fps so I don't think I'm going to do that. For something I plan on getting small groups and long range I don't want any extra fps loss or fps deviation.

I'll probably use them on sbr builds.

Yeah but sort of a novelty, I mean a sub 7lb 300wby mag with a 28" barrel. I'm sure it's a screamer but that's some serious firepower there, I suppose if I ever hunt grizzly bears I'm set.

One of the largest elephants ever killed was done with 2 rounds from a 300wby.

Ha . . . I have a 10.5" 300 Blackout upper and pistol lower coming on Monday or Tuesday.

I keep saying the same thing, I've actually hit a point where I'm not even interested in any more rifles (other than the new Barrett fieldcraft, luckily I don't think it will do anything the montana won't), but I keep finding new things I want but don't need....

-scarpa has new boots out
-kifaru has a few new cool things
-hilleberg tents are sweet
-wouldn't mind a sako Finn fire
-sort of interested in getting into trapping
-badly want a pac raft (this is happening)
-I want a small boat to cruise up the river
-Simms G4 guide waders are badass
