Long story short, for my 97B I could go with these grips in a darker or lighter color. I'm waffling back and forth on what looks better. Here's one of each.

I prefer darker, a more cherry color stain on the lighter grip would look badass imo.

At first I didn't like the more blonde look. Then I did. Then I didn't. Then I wasn't sure. Leaning towards the darker color. Can't go wrong either way in my estimation.

2 of the 4 guys I work with regularity gor the Barrett fieldcraft now....at the moment, even bringing up a new gun could cause a....ummm....disruption in the peace.

ARGH, build list too big... but want to add more to it already. GGGRRRR....

So far it includes:
- AR 10 (I already have the damn barrel and scope for this and bought a trigger group for it, Geissele one too. Rainer ultramatch barrel and a Vortex Viper scope)

- 6.5 Creed chassis build (have the fucking R700 SA receiver for it...)

I WANT to add:
- Ultra lightweight AR-15... Anderson lowers are like $50 a pop... gggrrrr

- .300 Blackout pistol just for shits'n'giggles

- Polymer80C build... problem with this is all the lower stuff is cheap and I could finish for like $225 including the receiver. All the slide shit is what puts it near $1000... ARGH!!!!!

Finding a slide for the Polymer80 is the biggest bitch/most expensive part. Almost tempted to try and find a used Gen 3 G19 to franken gun so to speak. Hell, at that stage I might as well just use the used gun to do everything I want.... probably be cheaper. Fuck

Man, after kicking around on that Alexander Arms website for the Beowulf magazine and reading a ton of material on the subject I am seriously considering a 6.5 Grendel upper. It seems to be the perfect compromise between an AR15 and an AR10

Same here man . . . bought everything but the bare slide. Can't find one I like for a decent price. Thinking about selling the barrel and other upper parts I bought and then just buying a complete slide.

DVOR has some ZEV for $409. Obviously not exactly cheap but less than I've seen elsewhere

I came close but it would just sit there for a while.

At that stage all that would be left is an optic which can come at a later date and the lower parts.

Bought this pair hoping they'd work on either my 85 Combat or SP-01. Didn't like on 'em on the '85 (it's perfect as is), but hoping they look snazzy on the post-CGW SP-01 with the RMR sight.

I'm in the process of adorning all of my CZ babies in wood (85 Combat notwithstanding).

Yeah I was. I might sit back and see what the outcome of the military's intermediate cartridge study is. I've got no pressing need for more power out of my AR at the moment
