I've done it on a couple things but I have too many AR builds I'm currently working on to buy all the pistols and other things I want.

I really thought Trump was going to lose. I wish I didn't buy all the lowers and shit I did. Couldn't have focused on 1 AR and a pistol or 2 with maybe a omega .30.

No, it's my least favourite style of trigger. If I ever get one, it'll be to try to overcome that particular limitation.

For DA/SA you should strongly consider a CZ 75 variant.

Overcome the avoidance; one of the reasons why I own a bunch of different pistols is so I don't feel "spoiled" by one type or weight of trigger.

CZs are very popular here in Canada.

I like the versatility of DA/SA. You can always operate in SA, carrying cocked and locked.

You may still want the Sig, but the 75 is well worth considering.

Sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel better, USPS busted up some $200 grips they delivered yesterday. The vendor was cool and said they'll handle the claim and get me some new grips shipped. Here's the most annoying part. These were special ordered at the beginning of March and the vendor says no more will be ready until the end of this month. Then they've gotta ship from overseas to the vendor and then forwarded on to me. Waiting 2 1/2 - 3 months sucks dog poo.

Best of luck getting your issue resolved quickly.

Yep, it's either sheer incompetence/laziness or outright theft. Either way USPS is on the hook for a slide, be it my original or a replacement from Springfield.

That's what I'm thinking too. What kind of dumbass steals just a slide? Is there even a secondary market for stock slides?

It comes in black, stainless with rose wood and black/stainless. I just personally like the kryptek.

It's also about $1100ish in black.

Those 10mm sigs are pretty cool but they have a few drawbacks imo. Sigs have never really been great at handling full power +p type ammo and these are no exception based on my friends who have used them a lot.

They are also heavy for what they are. I honestly don't see any reason to not get a glock 20. I have 2 of them and they get abused pretty good....rained on, dunked in water, not cleaned and I never have to think twice about them, a sig just won't hold up like a glock and for me, 10mm is strictly for woods use.

I have a sig 229 and it's a nice gun but heavy and I don't find it to be any more accurate or reliable than my g19.

Sigs are good for collecting, in their current form, they just don't seem very useful for anything other than range toys or something to have in the house.

At one point years ago, I took my 229 and a g19 and decided I was going to shoot every weekend and put 1k rounds through each one and not clean until then. The sig really started getting sticky after a few hundred rounds but the glock never even hiccuped even when it was bone dry.

That stuff in the white packet is good, back when I was all into sigs, that stuff called "slide glide" was what was being hyped up. I don't really remember all the stuff I used, I just remember being scared I'd damage my rails if it wasn't greased up....that's what all the people on the sit sauer forum were saying.

The only thing I might dislike about the variable is the eye relief; 6.9" @ 1.5x or 6" @ 4x, but the FOV looks impressive for that kind of scope and I only gain 3 oz and pay $10 more.

Now that I think about it, since the OAL of the variable is longer, maybe eye relief won't be so bad.

Did you ever get that m70 feather weight??? Or did you decide to just work with thit scout rifle???.

You know, since you're in Canada, you should check out that new tikka t3x that's being made for the rcmp special forces, aparently it's going to be available up there.

I've been getting all into m70s lately, if I was buying a new rifle I'd probably go old school jack O'Connor style and get a m70 supergrade with a maple stock, blued in 270.
