You really think so?
I fear another bug may have bitten me.....
6.5 Creedmoor precision rifle chassis system....

Or one of these:

Kill me.... And kill my friend that just built one in 6.5 Creedmoor and won't shut the fuck up about how fun it is.
Talking to a guy in my area says the chassis that the 110BA is on from Savage is heavy as fuck. This thing looks awesome.
LOL
You'll be happy about this @bushman505, found out Brownells sells Howa 1500 barrel actions in 6.5 Creedmoor so if I ever do this I may just go that route.
I admittedly KINDA want a fluted barrel just for "OMG IT LOOKS SEXY AS FUCK" though. But the barrels on Howa's are great.
I've heard they're heavy as fuck and compared to getting the action, chasis, and such with like and MDT LSS you spend less buying it in pieces.Could just buy the ruger precision rifle, I havnt heard anything but good on them. They have 308, 6.5cm and 6mm cm.
I fucking hate everything about savage.

What a guy I know does:
"I usually buy a used savage 10/11/16 with a top bolt release for ~$250 sell the barrel for $50 then buy the barrel I want for ~$350 and a chassis is ~$500."
RPR is $1600 out the box
True, price scares me a bit thoughYeah I guess weight wouldn't bother me on something like that, I mean it's 100% a bench gun, not like your going on a 10 mile hike with it...
Of the firearms inherited, the Savage was the least appealing. Looks like some aftermarket stock that doesn't quite fit right.

The ONE thing I REALLY hate about the RPR is a purely cosmetic thing but I despise it.1600 dosent seem like too much for a gun like that, I mean just a few years back I spent more than that getting a Remington 700 tactical turned into a bench gun. It's a lot of money but they seem worth it.

I hate how it looks like an inbred lovechild between an AR and like a Barrett. Something about a bolt gun with the full enclosed handguard rather than an exposed barrel just annoys me.
I know ultimately aesthetics isn't a huge thing in performance ways but God, am I not a fan of that look
I say that but I am sure by August of next year I'll have a 6.5 RPR with like a 6-24 Vortex PST on it or some shit
My wish list now is basically look like this:Yeah they do look strange, not really my type of thing either but they apparently are great guns.
If I was looking to get into 6.5 for a range toy, I'd probably just get one and be done with it.
I've still got a few precision rifles in 308 so I'm not really in the market for anything like that but if I was...
