Yeah the 240 is awesome. It basically replaced the M60 as the medium machine gun of choice. FNH makes that too and it's a complete opposite of their inaccurate and unreliable SAW.

apparently kimber has a new rifle coming out at shot show called the "afognak" named after afognak island, looks like it's specifically designed to carry for bear protection, it will come in 358 Winchester and have a shortened barrel, looks like a super light set up. If the size of the adirondack rifles is any indication, this thing might weigh in under 5lbs...put some open sights on it and forget your carrying it....

Apparently it's sort of a replica of a gun that was carried by a well known local guide. Looks badass. Kimber is really stepping it up with the mountain hunting rifles.

I bought a SCCY CPX-1 yesterday. I read that it had mixed reviews but in the end it seemed more favorable ones than negative. With Christmas money from my mother in law I didn't come out if pocket much. I take possession of it on Thursday (stupid cool off period).

Got my jp lmos qpq. It's pretty awesome. It's covered in clp or something so I didn't bother handling it too much but the finish and milling looks awesome. I'll wipe it down and check it out more later.

Just bought a Benchmade Gold Class knife. It is supposedly mint new(never sold) old stock. It's an older model some mom and pop shop had that they never sold. It's one I wish I bought years ago. I'll post more about it when it arrives tomorrow, trying not to get hopes too high just in case it is used and dinged up(I have 30 days to return).

My case of AK47 magazines from PSA arrived today. $240 for 42 croatian mags with bolt stops. All individually bagged and oiled. Nothing wrong with them at all. They fit 6 of my 8 AK's, have to spend 1 minute on the grinder per mag to get the release catch lug down a thousandth or three.

Gun show in my town this weekend. Going to go and look and see what their prices are on 6.5 either Savage Axis, Rem 700, or Ruger American.

Just a dumb question for people, the 6.5 Creedmore is considered a "short action" no matter the make of the rifle yeah?
