Gonna swap out my defense ammo. Just stocked up on some Speer Gold Dots for my Springfield XDS and SIG 220 and replacing my 12 gauge rounds in the Mossberg 590. I'll shoot the old stuff at the next range trip.

I have those Hornady Critical Defense rounds. Mostly because I had read "oh, FBI developed them" and my brain was "good enough for them, good enough for me" then I saw expansion tests between them and the Speer Gold Dots....

Want Gold Dots, at least for my Glock 23, now. My Para 1911/nightstand gun I fear I may need to buy a couple boxes of the good hollowpoints from different companies to see which works.

I have a shit ton of it too, any time I hit sportsmans, I grab 3-4 of those brown boxes with just the white sticker on it. It's good stuff.

Those ones, any one know what the cowitness on them is? NVM, I found my answer. The standard ones don't cowitness EOTECH or Aimpont.

Just made an impulse buy on a NIB older ruger Hawkeye all weather in 30-06, they had it as a buy it now for only 529.00.

I really didn't need it but for that price it was hard to pass up. On my first trip to Alaska, pretty much every single homesteader I met had that exact gun, lots of guys who kept only one gun had that exact gun, in fact on "life below zero" one of the guys has one still.

They stopped making them a few years ago, just a stainless synthetic version of the Hawkeye, I always wanted one, now I have one.

Should make an awesome beat around deer rifle or something, like I said I didn't need it I just always liked them and the price was good.
