I'm actually thinking of getting a slingshot now. I went from guns to knives and now I'm looking at slingshots on eBay. They are surprisingly cheap. I been going thru the different models and watching youtube videos on them and I don't know if I want a cheap one or a high end one. I know they can do some serious damage and can be used to shoot birds and squirrels and other small animals. If I ever have to retreat into the wilderness a slingshot would be great. Just pick up some rocks and shoot some rabbits or whatever.

Back ordered a Badger Ordnance condition one modular mount 34mm, 1.70

This parts shortage sucks.

I'm waiting on a 11.5 handguard to get in stock as well. Thing is, even when it drops I'll be lucky to get it and I refuse to pay scalpers.
I want one of their 1.54" mounts but have debated just getting a 1.7 and having it now.

I still don't have mine. Hasn't shipped yet. I'm also signed up for alerts elsewhere and haven't been notified.

What rifle are you thinking of putting it on?

The AR-10. I can't decide if I want the scope riding as close as possible to the top rail or sitting a little bit up.

Higher is better for standing, heads up and doing things quickly. 1.7 isn't the greatest at prone/bench type shooting. I'd go 1.54 for your purpose personally.

Finally finished up 2 builds.

Top is an M4E1. 10 inch 300 black. Odin minis pad does not fit in well on the top of the handguard, as the buis folds down and hits the pressure pad frame which does not allow the sight to fold. I will likely Drexel out 2 notches on the plastic frame to fix it, or remove the pad altogether because I'm not sure if I'm a fan of them. Just waiting on a new muzzle device. Super impressed with that Holosun 510c. Thank you to @RerouteToRemain , he gave me some sound advice a few months back on this one with tuning it up.

Bottom is my truck gun. Upper is just a PSA 10.5. Anderson lower with a spiffy (for a truck gun) lpk in it, I believe strike industries or something. Romeo MSR is set far back because that's where my wife likes it, set back deep, knowwhaimsayin?but seriously, shes left eye dominant and likes it set there because she's right handed and it helps. Light is a Feyachi budget Amazon light that gets pretty decent reviews for 40 bucks. 20 round mags with 68gr Hornady BTHP. Bolt is NiB since it sits in the truck, i know some people piss on NiB, but i don't care. H1 buffer, and polished trigger. Just took 2 courses with this gun, ran 2k rounds through it. It is set up to be a lightweight budget gun, and slowly transitioning to be my wife's rifle/pistol because she does not like her 18inch heavy barrel weight anymore.

In all my lower end ARs I put a BCM spring/o-ring upgrade in the bolt, and a flatwire buffer spring.

Next purchase? Going after a BCM recce rifle setup.
