I'm leaning towards Harris winning but Trump is live. Propaganda is a powerful tool, but at the end of the day, people want to be able to afford groceries, be able to afford a home and want to live in a safe country. Most people see Trump as the better option for that. For that reason alone he has a chance.

Whether or not the convictions hurt him remains to be seen. A lot of people see it as political prosecutions, and I don't think Americans see that kind of thing favorably. Of course, there are also many people who think he's the worst person ever and that they're all legitimate. I guess we'll see what independents think as they're going to decide the election

I get that you think that. I don't quite believe Trump is "my side" since I never voted for him and haven't voted for a republican since McCain. But it doesnt much matter. Trump is a terrible person and horrible leader. If you think the other side is that much better, more power to you. As far as policy goes, I'd probably prefer whatever Trump would do as opposed to what Kamala would do and I figure you'd think the opposite. Ok, cool. But make no mistake, both of these choices are terrible.

I get that you think that. I don't quite believe Trump is "my side" since I never voted for him and haven't voted for a republican since McCain. But it doesnt much matter. I don't like Kamala, and I hated Biden.

If I were American and the Democratic candidate was a rotten potato, the GOP candidate wouldn't matter, I'd vote for the potato.

The current Supreme Court terrifies me, and Thomas and Alito talking about only retiring if Trump wins is the only reason anyone should need to vote blue.

I don't know why I said "your side", I know your politics are more complicated than that. I still vehemently disagree with the point you were making though. The only president in living memory that did anywhere near as many absolutely disqualifying things as Trump was Nixon, and he resigned. Despite that, his supporters remain steadfast.

I took a long time before replying to this because although the fact you're just waiting for the October surprise cements my point, I wanted to take a closer look at the history of this practice, and turns out it goes back centuries.

I hope Trump wins but unless something big happens it's hard to predict what is going to happen. Polls have been wrong so many times I have no faith in them no matter what they say.

I'm not a fan of Trump but he is better then what Harris and the democrats want to do with much of their plans.
