Carried it as a young grunt in Anaconda and it performed well... aside from being a bitch to lug up steep hillsides and low crawl with.
That said, shoot enough rounds downrange with most firearms and it WILL eventually malfunction.

I have a 629 in 44 magnum with an 8 3/8 inch barrel.

The Fn 5.7 with 30 rnd high cap mags. Only 48 grain but over 4300fps with blue tipped jacketed rnds, cut through anything like butter.

Same here. I only have the poor man's Five-seven, the PMR-30. When I first picked up the only Sig 716 at my shop, a guy came in right afterwards to get it. He offered to trade an LR-308 classic and a P90s for it. Should have done it. It was a first gen P90S and I didn't know anything about them. The Sig turned out to be a bust, too.

Yeah, I had to get over the feel of my SCAR 17's lower and buttstock. My main issue was the A2 grip.

They are ugly, heavy, and are made of shit. They go "bang". Not sure about extended use, though.
