I'm not ignoring it, I'm just not convinced.

Let's not pretend Trump is just anyone, he had immense support in large swathes of America, and plenty of people who conceivably wouldn't have voted for anyone else.

I really don't see that happening in many other countries. They just aren't fanatical when it comes to politics. There's not really anything to suggest there was anyone the Democrats could have fielded that would have beaten Trump.

I've never denied that I was poor at many points in my life. You do realize I posted these stories, right? Do you think I care if you quote something that I posted? I find it funny how you guys still bring up the psycho landlord. In my life I've lived in many different places, and I lived there for such a short period of time. My parents died, and life was hard. Or they could stop electing very old politicians in the first place. Start with an age limit of 70 to begin with.

We don't let kids vote because they don't know what the fuck is going on. We should not let politicians past a certain age on the same line of reasoning. Almost everything cognitive related is in massive decline by then, with the decline starting as early as your 30s for some elements. On top of that, most of them don't give a fuck because they're near death. The optimal age for politicians is 27-60 imo.

Personally I'd rather have a 65 year old than a 27 year old.

People age very differently. It should be taken on a case by case basis. There are definitely people up there in age who have been and could be very effective leaders.
