What's the point of a calzone?

I like traditional calzones because they have ricotta cheese and I love ricotta cheese.

That is all.

Ricotta is 100% underrated.

Half of my family is from Puglia area, i eat panzerotti once a week basically, too good

Panzerotto may be stuffed with things you usually don't find on a pizza, example minced meat

Panzerotto is essentially same as calzone but former pan-fried and latter is oven cooked

If done at parents home Panzerotto > Pizza

If eat around Pizza > Panzerotto/Calzone (rare to find too)

Calzones must be made different other places. I'm only familiar with them from one local place. No sauce, and 4 times the amount of cheese, sausage, and pepperoni as a pizza. Sauce is on the side. If you like toppings and not bread, it's superior to pizza in every way imaginable.

Panzerottis are pretty much just smaller fried calzones.

Speaking of pizza and such I picked up this half grandma half Brooklyn style pizza yesterday. Amazing
