Yes. This one was so impressive. Looked like Fedor would break his neck for a sec.

This is always one of my favorite questions to revisit and it's so hard to narrow down, so I'll do it by weight class:

HW: Fedor/Big Nog I
LHW: Jones/Shogun
MW: Silva/Hendo
WW: GSP/Hughes II
LW: Penn/Sherk
FW: Holloway/Ortega
BW: TJ/Barao I
FLW: MM/Borg

If I had to pick just one, it's probably Silva/Hendo. The way he walked straight through Hendo's howitzers and returned fire with bombs from every angle before strangling/suffocating him with that body triangle RNC... Hendo was the toughest non-HW in the world when he was fighting, bar none. Just so scary to watch him get thrashed like that.

I am more impressed by pure dominance and not having to fight through adversity because you are so good.

Jones vs Shogun
GSP vs Trigg/Fitch/Sherk/Hughes 1 and 2
Fedor vs Bog Nog 3
TJ vs Barao
Conor vs Eddie (not a Conor fan, but give him credit)
Anderson vs Forrest/Leben
Penn vs Sherk/Deigo/Hughes
Cruz vs Garbrandt

I wouldnt consider myself a McGregor fan.

But his Aldo knockout was probably the most impressive.

Max Holloway coming off of a year layoff (injury in March, miss weight in april, health issues in july) then fighting the most dangerous contender who just KO'd Frankie Edgar + has insane BJJ.

Max fucked him up so bad it was insane. Some of the best striking you'll see in the FW division if not the entire UFC

Holloway broke the record for most strikes landed in a single round with 132 in that fight. Think about that shit. 132 strikes in 1 round.

Your knowledge is amazing, but narrow it down for God's sake! haha good list brother.
Haha. Sorry. Went off on a tangent trying to include every division. I can't believe I forgot
Fedor vs Cro Cop
Sakuraba vs Vitor
Randy vs Sylvia
Randy vs Gonzaga
Randy vs Tito

Your favorite fight? Or favorite ending to a fight? Gotta say the whole fight was mostly boring.

Really? I saw it at a bar and i have NEVER seen a crowd so into a fight before

Conor vs Aldo
Cruz vs Garbrandt (Hard to watch, but impressive)
Jones vs Shogun

Yea you’re a real idiot for missing those 5 fights on your list of 50 haha. I can’t wait to go through them all tomorrow and watch the ones I haven’t seen. Good lookin out prune.

Cruz vs TJ after years away
Holly vs Ronda, flawless victory
Silva vs Belfort... Vitor is so dangerous, and he front kicked him in the face

Khabib outstriking Conor and beating him so badly he did nothing the entire fight was pretty impressive.

I thought Conor would lose but the man got completely shut out.

Not if you listened to much of the post fight commentary, Conor was a can who had no chance. He did win a round though which had never been done before I believe.

On topic I wasn't an MMA fan at the time but I believe Fedor v Cro Cop would have been up there, particularly the nature of how Fedor did it.

Bj Penn beating Matt Hughes.

I have been a long time casual fan, but people new to the sport will forget how much of a Monster Hughes was in his prime.

I thought he might never be beat again.

Say what you want about BJ's recent record, but he really was the real deal.

Not a massive upset in hindsight, but it was HUGE at the time.

That's a damn good shout.

Flawless victory over a bigger, stronger champ a weight class up.

He even gave him a little kiss after.
Bj also said ‘I punched him so hard I broke my hand, so you could imagine how bad he was hurting’ or something close to those lines lol.

Matt was Matt thinking he would spin bj the lightweight around on his finger and have his way with him. Such a great fight!

I think that kiss really sealed the deal for BJ too ; )
