I can go through the top 20 on IMDB too and name 3 movies that I didn't particularly like. Hence they must be overrated.

Agree on Woody Allen. Meant to be comedy but never found them funny. Everyone claims O brother, where art though is hilarious but I didn't laugh at all.

i thought it was a very A, B, C basic type sci fi, that did not try to push any really complex ideas that were highbrow or hard to understand.

On Heat...influence aside. I watched it with my youngest brother maybe six months ago, he had never seen it, and I was excited to share it with him. Overall it's pretty boring pacing wise in hindsight, and we ended up Mystery Theater 3000'ing it while watching it.
