Val had the image, gimmick, and theme to go with the best wrestlers from that era. He was billed from Las Vegas and his signature move was even dubbed 'the money shot'. I thought he would have been better suited to join a faction, whether it was the Corporation or D Generation X. The guy's gimmick was too good to completely fall off the radar.

He had his run then got fat like most from the attitude era

This is the last anyone has ever seen or heard of val venis.

This is his Twitter account:

He put some weight on.

He would have been a great addition to DX, after HBK left, with the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac.

He was a great talent, both in the ring and out of it. Never got his due.

I don't think Missy Hyatt likes him.

Whoa... Now that's a long way to fall from here.

Only theory I can come up with is that this was actually not kayfabe but a real event.

Think he sells weed now in Colorado or something. Think when he went to right to censor is the downfall. Loved his promos as a singles wrestler. That was what was great about the attitude era. You actually gave a shit about the mid card matches.

Right to censor was the worst sin WWE creative has ever committed... Killing the god fathers character is unforgivable.

PS. midcarders today are no worse than 15-20 years ago. Only difference is todays mid carders are mostly demoted main eventers from 5 years ago that got pushed too fast. And attitude era mid carders got pushed slowly and ended up becoming great main eventers.

Right to Censor buried a lot of people... Bull Buchanan, Godfather, Ivory... Just took the personality and the potential right out of all of them.

i thought he was talented to some extent, but his gimmick was sophomoric, low brow, and pedestrian.

History is history. However, Val would have been a nice addition to the DX army at the time. If the WWF model followed the Bischoff routine, "We've got another one for you".

All I remember was him supposedly getting his dick chopped off. As for the highest his charcter ever went was the feud with The Rock during Smackdown's fresh start with UPN. That character had so much potential and I was a fan dude, It's too bad.

Fuck! The Right to Censor!!! Worst faction ever!!!! That shit killed the God Father!!!
