Val had the image, gimmick, and theme to go with the best wrestlers from that era. He was billed from Las Vegas and his signature move was even dubbed 'the money shot'. I thought he would have been better suited to join a faction, whether it was the Corporation or D Generation X. The guy's gimmick was too good to completely fall off the radar.

He joined the shit faction known as right to censor then didn't he become chief Morley? Porn star gimmick wouldn't go today

Right to Censor buried a lot of people... Bull Buchanan, Godfather, Ivory... Just took the personality and the potential right out of all of them.

It ruined the godfather and val, Ivory could have gone back but bull never had much going IMO, just another big guy

Val Venis was an all around great performer. Good promo, killer entrance, definitely could wrestle..

I was always hoping they'd randomly throw him into a royal rumble Boogie Man style... but apparently he let himself go and it might just be sad at this point.

I actually saw a guy that I thought was Val Venis wrestling as Vic Venis (same music, and basically same voice). Turns out this melted candle is actually Val's brother working the gimmick.

I can't believe people are hurting Right To Censor. As fun as the Godfather and Val Venis were, they were not really gimmicks that would be set to live a lifetime. Add to that the fact it got Stevie F'n Richards regular promo time and they had some genuine heat.

I also liked right to censor. It was a promotion for those people at the time. RTC was taking down big names, and I think held tag belts, and maybe an ic belt.
