Where does everybody think they are bugging out to? It would have to be within walking distance or the distance you could get on a tank of fuel in whatever conveyance you will use. Remember what happened when people tried to leave when a hurricane was coming. Traffic jammed up and people ran out of gas. Bugging out is probably only a realistic option if someone is coming for you specifically but not in an apocalyptic situation where everybody is bugging out.
