What will be the next "big thing" in MMA?

now that all of the top level guys can defensively grapple to a certain extent and the fear of being taken down is starting to be outweighed by the fear of wasting energy attempting takedowns, i believe the fighters are going to start being more and more comfortable firing jabs and in say 10 to 15 years from now i believe having and using a solid jab will be necessary to penetrate the advanced defensive skills of the next gen fighters.

Hand fighting when striking. Sandhagen and Jones is great at it and we've seen it used by other fighters in the past but i feel like it's still a very underrated weapon.
