And why was she not wearing panties on that particular shoot? How did the shot end up so perfect, that you really only got a flash of the landing strip and not full vag that would cause a reshoot?

Yeah, I don't believe her either. That was a money shot you could not trick an actress into doing. Like you said, the engineering of the shot is rather blatant. Everyone but the star who happened to go commando that day, was in on it? Yeah, I doubt it.

He is a very niche director, who does satire. I love satire. That said, I didn’t really love Showgirls.
I think when people say he is great, they are probably talking about his concept of film more than his films themselves.
It’s like that artist who did the urinal. The artwork itself wasn’t so amazing as the fact that he did it.
