What vitamin or supplements actually worked for you?

Liquid fish oil. Vitamin D (4,000 iu’s). Vitamin c (2 grams spread throughout day).

Mixing magnesium and bcaa’s powder, dextrose powder and creatine will make a good workout drink, while protein powder can be good to get more protein in as well.

Cordeceps mushrooms (and turkey tail and lions mane) supplements are also good (Paul stamets sells good ones).

I take the creatine and fish oil caps in the a.m, whey protein shakes post workout and Zinc/Mag before bed.
Do you take whey every single day or only on workout days?

I still cant get myself to sip on those drinks, they make me want to puke for some reason. I just chug them. when I would drink Whey Id only drink it post workout. I dreaded drinking them the after taste always got me, later one they started masking the taste with sweeteners that it tasted artificial

So I just buy a plain Whey powder isolate and blend it with a fruit smoothie thats the only way I can really enjoy whey.

Just on workout days. I make shakes with it. I have a bullet blender that I use to make it with skim milk and ice... Mixed with whatever flavor power I buy. They're pretty damn good.

But I try to keep my protein at 185g minimum every day. The shakes are a nice quick ingestion of protein/bcaa right after.

yeah they would say don't take it with milk

I was taking that shit on Empty right before bed, I would eat my Dinner at 6 or 7 pm and try to hit the sack before 11 pm and I would take the ZMA and then id wake up with some grumbling and cramping.

I took the GNC brand from many years ago, I dont even know if GNC still makes ZMA.

What do you feel when you take it? describe it.

Usually I'll wake up in the same position as I went to sleep, it'll take me an hour to wake up properly. Sleep is deeper with dreams which I wouldn't get otherwise.

I take Nordic triple filtered fish oil 5ml, turmeric with curcumin, probiotics etc but I couldn't tell you their benefits specifically. Bone broth also, a great source of protein as it's 95%, often I have it in my coffee.

When you first started lifting did you ever get the newb gains? I was reading that the human body has a cap on how much muscle they can put on natural the first few months of weight lifting you get the quick gains aka newb gains, after a while its harder to put on muscle mass and you then would hit a peak and need TRT or roids to get you over that hump.

Just becareful taking too much zinc it decreases your copper absorption, Iron hinders Zinc but not copper.

Magnesium for me. I take 450 mg of Mag Citrate before bed. Without it I sometimes get Jimmy legs (restless legs) in the middle of the night. I also notice I don’t get as many headaches when I’m taking it regularly.

I first started lifting halfway through my senior year of high school and went consistently till I was about 21. I'd say I made newb gains then. I went from 140 to 167 over about a three year time span. But, I ate like garbage, drank a lot and didn't really have a good program. So I made newb gains but it wasn't earth shattering.

What you're referring to is max genetic potential. You can look online and find calculators that help you determine what that is based off of a few factors... height, ankle and wrist measurements, percent body fat etc. Of course it isnt' going to be 100 percent accurate because there are so many factors that affect it.

I stopped lifting for nine years until I turned 30 and realized I was starting to get out of shape and needed to get back to the gym. I actually hired a boxing trainer and started competing about a year later. I also started a modest weight training program during that time and I quickly got back what muscle gains I made all those years ago. But, like before.... I wasn't on a tight program and was still not eating right.

When I quit boxing a few years ago I continued lifting and have been slowing adjusting my program. Now, over the past year or so I've been working on progressive overload and fine tuning my diet. It's made more of a difference in this past year than it had for the years before on a shitty program.

Point is, you hear about maximum genetic potential all the time but it's hard to even get there if you aren't training right. In a perfect world someone might be able to get there in three years. But chances are you're not going to and may never. Yes, you'll gain quickly in the first year, at about half the rate in the second and maybe a quarter of that in the third. Every year after you might only put on two to three pounds of muscle every year after. But again, that's only if you're dialed in. Don't need roids to hit your potential, you just need hard work and dedication. PEDs put you over what's natural and if looking like a freak is your thing, more power to you.

Do you believe in Muscle Memory? Like if you were buff before and stopped lifting and then stared up again you can transform and inflate again after just a few months lifting and dieting again?

Have you tried Mucuna? I had to stop taking it. It made me far to horny and bonery. Just a hard cock constantly.
im older in my 30s I wasntt get morning wood anymore, but since this pandemic I started working out again and eating cleaner I still eat fast food but healthy choices and Ive been doing cardio on my step machine and doing jumping jacks and jump rope. I lost several pounds and after a while I was getting Rock hard boners at night again and it shocked me cause I haven't had these since I was in my 20s

I guess working out and proper nutrition does help, crazy thing is Im not horny but Im getting morning wood again.

It's true. There are stories of people who got sick and couldn't lift for six months and could hardly eat that lost 50 pounds... and regained it all within a few months once they went hard again.

yeah I believe it too, my friend is an example he has been posting on facebook and IG his progress during the pandemic. He used to be buff and stopped working out several years ago and was skinny fat, now he is yoked again.

He inspired me to start working out again, dude only started lifting for 3 months and already burned fat and his muscle tone and definition came back from when he was in his 20s he is 36 now.

He has a similar transformation to this guy

I was always hoping once I hit 40 I would be free from the constant horny feelings. But it just wont go away. I'm still just a boner machine and there is no getting away from it. In college when I would try to be productive I used to jerk it to clear my mind. Sometimes 10+ times a day. But the clarity never lasted more than 5 minutes.

I still wake up in the morning thinking of tittays and butts.

My dad is almost 80 and when he sees a hot young girl he can't help himself. I guess I am cursed.
