You're not going to stop them from coming in (it's not possible to fence/wall it and some would get around it anyway) and you'd have to kill asylum to stop immigration entirely. The also doesn't deal with the root cause of why they come. Trump didn't stop it or get his wall built when he had four years in office. Immigrants are demonized and othered as a political football. That's it. They're not what's wrong with the country and they're not why the dems are losing. They're a scapegoat and always have been. Look into history a little bit.

I think the Progressives cost the Democrats the election. Their stance on the open border and the trans/gender issue is too off putting to a lot of people.

They're a small part of the democrats but they are the loudest. but even though they are small, the democrats need their vote. Im not sure what the dems plan is in the future. If they veer off the tiniest bit from the progressive line, they will lose their vote

Kamala campaigned on closing the border and reviving that bipartisan border bill that Trump told the Republicans in Congress to shut down.

The progressives haven't had any say in anything since Bernie's campaign got crushed in 2020. They don't have any power in the party whatsoever.

The Democrats are actually systemically pushing them out of Congress via primaries and redistricting. They got rid of Mondaire Jones in 2022, and they took out Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman in this cycle.

Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar had all of their committee assignments removed for criticizing Israel.

The only one left who's halfway relevant is AOC, and she basically kisses the ass of the Democratic leadership to the point where most of the lefties on Twitter fucking hate her. AOC was arguing against Biden dropping out when Obama and Pelosi engineered that coup against him.

That's not what processing means at all. And if you actually ever bothered to speak to an immigrant you'd know that.

You know that town in Ohio that was begging the racists to stop lambasting their Haitian Residents because they actually kept the place from becoming a ghost town? Yeah that's what happens when you process them. Just say you dont want more blacks or Latinos here and own up to it.
