Food & Drink What Ruins a Pizza For You?

I'm not picky like a lot of posters in this thread. Dough with cheese is good IMO.
I am more than willing to dissect a pie that I paid a bunch of money for at a joint that has a brick oven.
They set the bar high so I'm going to raise my expectations.

I ordered a chicken caesar pizza once and it was a cheese sauce and it was gross so anything other than traditional tomato sauce can fuck off! I like black olives but green olives give me crazy heartburn and I have never tried anchovies and am not about to start.

Of all the "standard-ish" pizza ingredients, onion is the one that I find off-putting. I'm just not a fan of onion on pizza.

Wow, lol. Im stunned Mushrooms, Onions are the staple for me. ranch sauce as in substitute for tomatoe sauce is something i'd never try but again each to their own. Im sure some poeple love that.

Low quality cheese. I remember my friend used to work at Little Ceasers and they used some kind of processed cheese in a jug because it was cheaper. Nasty.

2nd... low quality toppings. In my older age I've appreciated the places that have high quality meat. Quality > Quantity.

For me:
Mushrooms
Olives
Ancovies
Pickles
Refired beans on a Taco pizza
I don't mind the last to just not on pizza
I like the first 3, never tried the last 2.
What is a no no for me is pineapple (or any other fruit).
Californians have been known to eat fruit-topped pizza. (I've seen it with my own eyes.)

I ordered a pizza online once and accidentally chose tuna instead of chicken.

Didn't realise until after I'd taken the first bite.

Had to throw the whole thing away.
