What land animal is the ultimate hunter?

cats are actually killing way to many birds nowadays so probably them

especially if they have freaking laser beams attached to their heads.

Probably a mustelid of some type, like a mink or marten. Those things are relentless hunters.
Id have to agree. The leopard or wolverine kill much larger opponents and have better kill ratios than most animals in addition to. They are both also animals with no fucks to give when scrapping for survival, wolves run from lots and require packa to be successful. Any pack animal is DQ'd in comparison to a solo predator

I don't know, but there was an amazing documentary about this coalition of lions (the Mapogo coalition) that were the most prolific killers out of any other lions. It played out like some mafia film!

If you search 'brothers in blood documentary' you should be able to find a stream for the full documentary.

The leopard.

It can carry its kill that can weigh up to three times its own weight on top of trees to consume it there, safe from lions, and hyenas. It hunts almost in completele silence, able to sneak up on almost any animal.

The tiger.

Unlike the leopard, the tiger are the apex predators in the countries they're found. Able to bring down even a large ox, they're also known for having the highest kill counts when it comes to humans, and shown to be very elusive against hunters. Its fur makes it able to blend in and catch its prey by surprise.

The wolf.

Unlike the big cats, wolves hunt in packs and do not have to sneak in so close where they're just a single jump away from their prey. They sneak up, pick a target from a herd, and run until the one the alpha male has picked is out of stamina, and bring it down. They're able to bring down buffalo, an animal about four times their own size thanks to their team work.

Some other animal?

Correct answer is the leopard. It is the most succesful land predator as of now. And they are most all over the world

No land predator besides humans can survive outside of bio niche.

This question is pointless. Tigers cant survive out on the plains. It is a big ambush predator. It loses all the hiding spots. Cheetahs cannot survive the arctic. Killer Whales cannot survive on land. Jelly fish cannot fly.

Leopards should get some style points. They got the perfect mix of size and agility.

Ok well wolves are on the list and they hunt in packs

And why would the ability to reason disqualify humans as hunters?
Wolves also have a pretty low kill ratio, African Painted Dogs are by far the most efficient of the hunters.

Pound for Pound the toughest, but would get mauled by an Alpha Polar Bear or Kodiak Bear if it really came down to it.
Honey badger is smaller but would take out a wolverine and at the least castrate the others you mention.

Nah, definitively humans. We can run, we can climb, we can swim, we're smart, we can use tools. What animal could do anything against that.

Your average house cat is also an insanely skilled hunter. My own late cat, used to hunt bats, birds, mice. The way she killed bats was awesome. She'd wait for the bats to fly out when they were going to hunt, and then leap up and catch them.
where the fuck do you live the fucking batcave or what ?

Dam i started watching Grizzly Man stuff again about Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend eaten alive.
