What knife did you carry today?

Damn, those Emerson-ZT/Kershaw-collaborations look great...

I only saw the one and it looked like a production bulldog that Emerson already puts out. You got any pics of some of the other prototypes?

I want all the framelock models.

Pretty much my exact thought. I can probably get all the Kershaw-models and one of the new ZTs for the money I would have been spending on a Strider...

Yeah, I really just want someone to give me a Strider.

Just bought me a new Benchmade. The Dark Earth (top) knife is my daily carry, I use it a lot at work.
Bottom knife is my new purchase. Assisted folder, great grip on the handle.

Most knife guys say you have to own at least a Strider and/or a Chris Reeves at least once in your life.

I handled a Sebenza at my local knife place, it is an incredible knife but I just couldn't pull the trigger at that price.

Do you have any experience sharpening benchmade's serrations?

No I don't, and I know Benchmade doesn't sharpen the serrations for you either. I rarely use the serrations but I like having that option there if I need it.

I have a spyderco sharpmaker. You're supposed to be able to sharpen serrations using the corner edges of the rods but I don't own any serrated blades so I'm not sure how well it works.

I should use that as an excuse to buy a new knife. I need a serrated model to practice sharpening the serrations.
