Yeah that's one thing I love about benchmade, the deep pocket carry on their knives is great.

Pretty much my exact thought. I can probably get all the Kershaw-models and one of the new ZTs for the money I would have been spending on a Strider...

Most knife guys say you have to own at least a Strider and/or a Chris Reeves at least once in your life.

I handled a Sebenza at my local knife place, it is an incredible knife but I just couldn't pull the trigger at that price.

No I don't, and I know Benchmade doesn't sharpen the serrations for you either. I rarely use the serrations but I like having that option there if I need it.

I have a spyderco sharpmaker. You're supposed to be able to sharpen serrations using the corner edges of the rods but I don't own any serrated blades so I'm not sure how well it works.

I should use that as an excuse to buy a new knife. I need a serrated model to practice sharpening the serrations.

No, I have an 0350 which is smaller than a 0300. The 0300 is a gift for someone else I have it out to put a final edge on the blade and to make sure it's all good.
