What knife did you carry today?

I will probably get rid of some folders I never carry and try to get a good deal for a Strider SMF...Are they actually worth the price?

Guys on the forums absolutely adore them and swear they are worth the money.

I say go for it, worse case scenario you sell it or trade it. They hold their value a quite well.

There were rumours a while back and then they just sort of fizzled out.

I love frame locks.

My Cryo is a frame lock. I love them too. If you hear any news, shoot me a PM please. I can't imagine what's taking so long. I know this has been in the works since at least 2010.

they are very nice knives....i like them. I wont buy them new.....the CC SMF above is 550 if purchased new. Fuck that,....i got it used for 400 bucks (actually flat out traded the other SMF that i paid 400 for)

you can get a lego SnG used for as cheap as 300 on one of the gear forums, maybe 340 for a lego SMF, around 400 for a used CC or GG SMF

they probably have the best warranty around.....though you are unlikely to ever need it unless you are doing something stupid with the knife. If you buy used, and take care of your stuff, you can frequently either take NO LOSS when selling, or a very small loss. So like Sonny said, try one out, worst case scenario you can sell it.

Though id advise against ebay if you arent really familiar with strider knives, because there are a shit ton of fakes out there. Strider is probably the most cloned knife (china)

Bought this one a few days ago so I've been carrying it just for the sake of it being new.

But this is my EDC, I love this knife, it's a Rick Hinderer design and it is as durable as they get. Holds it's edge very well.

How easy is it to carry the 300. I looked at one when they first came out and thought it was a little thick and would be bulky in the pocket. Is it?

What's that second Benchmade?
I'm carrying my new ZT 0350 today. It's the largest folder I have and I was concerned it would feel to bulky or heavy in my pocket, but it's neither. It's sizable, and it rides just a little high when switched to tip up carry (which is my preference), but I'm really liking it. It has the beefiest liner lock I've ever seen. I've gotten some looks when I've pulled it out to cut open boxes or whatever. I'll probably go back to my Cryo for edc, but I'm loving this one.

Doesn't bother me one bit, that's because I carry my truck keys in the same pocket. My favorite knife by far.
